Staying true to another one of my resolutions, I am going to stick to my intuition and just present my thoughts, pictures, and tips about beauty as to how I see fit. Going forth, what appears on my blog will just be me sharing how I see beauty-which may be in the most random things because I tend to try and find the beauty in everything. You may think I’ve hit the nail on the head or that I’m bat-shit crazy with some things, take it or leave it, I just hope you enjoy!

Okay now that my little PSA is over!:

I’ve compiled my top beauty and overall looks that debuted at the 2015 Golden Globes on Sunday night. Honestly, I think all of the A-listers played it too safe! I’m hoping that it’s a sign that they’re saving the major drama for the rest of award season cause this was kind of a snooze-fest.

I do think everyone looked very pretty. Pretty to the point to where it was boring. I’m not a fashion guru, but I do love keeping up with it since fashion is such a unique form of art and self expression aaand the world of fashion and beauty are so closely connected so I try to stay on top of what is going on. I’ve always stated that makeup is such a key element to your overall look and style. It can make or break your look–and it has inspired a new feature that I have yet to name! I think that some of the stars can have THE most amazing dress, but throw it all off with the wrong hair and makeup. Some at fault that I wish to edit from the Globes were stars like Dakota Johnson and Alison Williams. I can’t do my hair to save the life of me but I will be featuring how I would’ve done my makeup if I was given the opportunity of wearing exquisite gowns from top designers all over the globe. So stay tuned for those!

In the picture above, I have gathered the top beauty looks for the evening. Again, everyone looked very pretty, but the front runners were Sarah Hyland, Emily Blunt and Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s monochromatic dusty rose looks, Cindy Crawford-pretty self explanatory, Emma Stone’s edgy blue shadow and berry lips, Katie Holmes for mastering the classic smokey eye and nude lip combo, Lorde’s demure clean face and red pout. Major props to Lupita for rocking the purple and blue liner combo! I admire her greatly because she is fearless when it comes to her makeup. Her makeup is always the highlight of a red-carpet event!

The collage above features the women who just got everything right- hair, makeup, the dress (or jumpsuit!), their overall look landed them on my best dressed list because each element was harmoniously balanced. A smokey eye was perfectly balanced by it’s complimentary shade of lipstick or hair-do. Each of these A-list ladies just looked perfectly pulled together. The winner of the night has to go to Emma Watson though. I gravitate towards anything that is glittery, shiny, sparkly, so the moment when she got out of her limo, I immediately loved her nude and silver shimmering top. Then I really lost it when it turned out to be a jumpsuit with that huge bustle in the back-SO COOL. The Revlon ambassador is never shy to play around with her makeup, so her blue smokey eye and berry lips were just as cool as her outfit.
