Your Youngin’

These products fine tuned for youngsters who are just starting to apply makeup. A nice brush set like this one from Sonia Kashuk is a great addition to her budding makeup collection. Let’s face it, puberty isn’t the kindest on skin so any makeup products that help keep problem skin at bay is a no brainer. Neutrogena’s Oil Free Acne Correct and Cover Tinted Moisturizer and Maybelline’s Better Skin Concealer will provide just enough coverage to even out skin tone, texture, redness and conceal any blemishes while keeping her skin looking fresh and youthful. Lush’s Santa Baby Lip Scrub is a great way to exfoliate before applying a sheer tinted balm with Maybelline’s Baby Lips. Add a tiny bit of color on the eyelid with Maybelline’s Color Tattoo Eye Crayon and finish with a bit of mascara for an age appropriate look!

Your Sis

Sisters are extremely special. The bond that you have with your sister is completely unique and something that you cherish no matter your differences. I have two younger sisters who live in LA and keep me on my toes. For the most part I think I’m kind of with it, but they truly know what’s up- what’s cool, what’s not, what’s in, and how I’m embarrassing myself. I’m constantly turning to them for inspiration. We all seem to share a love of face masks, mascara and highlighted skin. Kat Von D’s Alchemist palette launches later this month-I am DYING to get my hands on it and I know my sisters would too. Claire is super into color correcting so this set of mini Cover FX correctors would make a great gift. Estee Lauder launched the Estee Edit line complete with nifty products like this lipgloss that makes your teeth look whiter. A nice foundation makes a great gift and when all else fails, grab a gift card from Sephora!

motherYour Mother

Makeup or skincare products are pretty solid fool-proof gifts for moms. Our mother is very stylish and into fashion and makeup so these products are perfect additions to keep her looking fab.

Le Metier Eyeshadow and Lip Gloss Set– Mom is not afraid of color! She’s actually very good at pairing her shadows together. With their upcoming trip to Hawaii, these shadows and lip glosses will be a perfect accent to any tan!

La Mer Skin Kit- She’s obsessed with the facial oil. Just adding some extra products.

Stila Ink Cushion Eyeliner to achieve the perfect cat eye.

Nars Contouring Kit can help chisel cheekbones

She loves metallics. This Nars Eyeshadow is perfect for the holidays and ringing in the New Year in NYC!

What mom wouldn’t love to end the day with an Amber Vanilla scented bath? Any of Laura Mercier’s lotions, scrubs, or bath gels smell heavenly.

all natural

Perfect for your health conscious recipient. These lines are stripped down and offer beautiful all natural, organic, mineral based pigments that don’t skimp on impact. Their packaging is made from recycled materials and is cruelty-free.

I can’t speak highly enough of It Cosmetics CC Cream. Complete with anti-aging serum, a full coverage color correcting cream, hyaluronic acid, vitamins, peptides and SPF 50, this foundation does it all and promises more radiant and flawless skin. This bright red Nudus Lipstick paired with either W3LL People’s Elitist Mineral Eyeshadow or Lush’s cream shadow, a hint of Josie Maran’s Coconut Cheek Gelee, Ilia’s highlighting stick finished with RMS Beauty’s Mascara makes for a perfect holiday look.

As for some skincare goodies, Tata Harper’s Limited Edition Best Sellers kit will surely wow her. Herbivore has some amazing scrubs and masks, but I just love the color of their Lapis Facial Oil. Lastly, Tarte’s Rainforest of the Sea Drink of H20 Hydrating Moisturizer is incredible. The marine antioxidants help battle dull, tired looking skin and help restore skin texture and hydration in a cooling gel formula- plus it smells amazing!

Your Bestie

Prepare to get a high-five from your best friend after she opens one of these. Shopping for your best friend is similar to shopping for your family or yourself. You know exactly what they love and exactly what they dislike. I included some of the products I’m always sharing with my BFFs.

Any Lush Face Mask plus some wine and bad TV is a winning combo for a girl’s night. I have a running joke with one pal about oats..this Oatifix Face Mask would surely get a laugh.

I included the Tarte Drink of H20 moisturizer again cause it’s that good. Really anything from their Rainforest of the Sea collection is awesome.

With the colder weather, I’ve had a few friends ask what are the best product for dry, pale, winter skin. A tinted cheek stain or lip balm deliver hours of natural looking color while giving you a boost of much needed moisture.

We’re always asking each other for powder when we’re out and about. W3LL People’s Realist Invisible Setting powder would do the trick.

Sharing some of my ultimate favorite products like we do secrets 🙂 : Charlotte Tilbury’s Quad, Bobbi Brown Long wear gel liner, Marc Jacobs Beauty Lipstick in Role Play-THE perfect nude lipstick, his Twinkle Eyeshadow Stick in any color, the Velvet Noir Mascara. Once you try this mascara you will never want to use another brand for the rest of your life. Such a game changer. And finally Nars Monoi Body Glow Oil. The indigenous flower that gives the oil it’s intoxicating scent grows only on one island in Tahiti. Fracois Nars BOUGHT that island so that no one else could use it. It just makes me happy.

man

Lastly, can’t forget about the guys! Any of these products would work for any man in your life. Men can be particular to shop for so hair/skin/grooming products that they normally wouldn’t purchase for themselves would make a good gift.

Cologne- My dad has a nice cologne collection and always smells so nice, it is one of my favorite things about him. This ten piece Commodity unisex cologne sampler can help your guy choose his next scent (and you can use it too!) I imagine this Urban Outfitter’s Mens Wood Cologne smells like the lobby of the South Congress Hotel..anything that smells like their signature scent needs to be in my airspace always.

This Bloomingdale’s set kills two birds with one stone by gifting four minis of their best selling colognes and three skincare products.

Since my Dad spends the majority of his time outside, I figured this oil-free Jack Black sunscreen would be nice.

This Kiehl’s Full Body Refueling Kit includes everything he could need!

Jack Black lip balm to keep lips smooth and soft.

Tom Ford Beard Oil– available in three of his iconic scents, this beard oil is designed to soften and condition facial hair.

Triumph & Disaster Coltrane Clay– honestly, I just loved the name of this product. Completely true when it comes to hair.

Hope everyone has a joyful holiday season!

Warm wishes,
