I know I’m not supposed to have a favorite from all of the incredible shoots I was so lucky to be apart of in this issue, but I do have such a strong affinity to the overall mood of the Ethereal Beauty Bird Dog Wedding Tabletop story! I have been to my fair share of weddings and have worked too many to count, but I have yet to see such a proper use of color. I absolutely love how the range of purples in the linens and in the flowers are so harmonious and create such a lovely sight to see.
Doing Kristen’s makeup for that in-freaking-creible classic in the front, art-deco party in the back wedding dress was so fun too. After using every shade of pink, peach and nude in my makeup kit, it was so much fun to put a different color of lipstick on a bride-even if it was just for a photoshoot! A purpley shadow with a grey undertone really made her blue eyes pop.
