This past weekend was pretty incredible. Although the forecast was gruesome, it magically cleared up on Sunday for my sweet friend’s wedding at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden. Then of course all hell broke loose on Monday..but I couldn’t be happier for Catherine and Fred’s special day!

Anastasia of Beverly Hills Contouring Kit in Light to Medium– Fawn in hallows of the cheeks, along the jaw and hair line, Havana along the top of the cheekbones.
Nars Dual Intensity Blush in Craving lighter color was applied to the bridge of the nose, Cupid’s Bow, brow and collar bones. Darker color on the apples of her cheeks
Urban Decay’s Naked Palette Creep blended from outer V into the crease, topped with Chanel Illusion D’Ombre Longwear Luminous Eyeshadow in Epatant, eyes lined with Chanel’s Stylo Eyeshadow Stick in 57 Black Stream (Limited Edition) along top and bottom slightly smudged.
Kiss False Lashes in Shy cut in half and applied to the outer half of the eye to open them up
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner in Black traced along the glue of the lashes to finish with a flicked end
L’Oreal Voluminous Waterproof Mascara on both top and bottom lashes
Revlon Lip Liner in Nude and Dior Fluid Stick Lipgloss in Mirage
and voila! Sassy Judy Jetson look.

Catherine has always been such a special friend to me. Oddly, we’re related through marriage and I’ve always loved hearing stories from her grandmother and parents on how we would be in our carseats at the Texas Chili Parlor as ‘Caty Clem & Katy Cren”. I was so glad that we became ‘scalpals’ in college and was proud to stand next to her with the other merry maids and help her tie the knot to the love of her life. I have shared some of the ultimate highs and lows with this group of gals but what I love most is how much we can make each other laugh. I have had my cheeks hurts, abs in stitches, and tears running down my face from some of our memories. All of Catherine’s tremendous characteristics are matched and balanced by Fred’s and I know that from drawing upon my past with her, their future will be nothing less than extraordinary!Cheers you two!
