The Looks:
The Empire State Scarf: “Inspired by the black and white dress code of NYC and the architecture of the skyline and skyscrapers”-keeping with her inspiration, I wanted to throw in a pop of color that would offset her black and white striped suit. I am SUCH a sucker for a glossy eye- weird texture but it looks SO awesome over Makeup Forever’s Aqua Cream shadow in Emerald Green and smudged black liner–kind of a gritty-glam reminiscent of NY.
The Skull Kandy Scarf: Lex showed me a picture of this two-toned lip she found on Pintrest that she was dying to do that went perfectly with the multicolors in the Skull Kandy Scarf. I decided to throw on a red cat eye in glitter because why the heck not.. I will take advantage of any occasion I can use a shit ton of glitter.
The Rose Scarf: Again..glitter..! We wanted a fun girlie look with an edge- a variation on Chanel’s runway look. Thick liquid liner, lids rimmed with Makeup Forever’s Holodium Powder in 303, and Limited edition L’Ete Papillon De Chanel’s mascara in Aqua Blue topped off her makeup.
The Crystalline Scarf: Obviously Lex and I are big fans of bold colors. It turns out that one of my favorite MAC Pigments in Neo-Orange was an exact match to the crystals that border the scarf.
Such a fun day, hope to collaborate again!! xoK
