Happy New Year’s Eve everybody! No matter if you’re celebrating with a close few friends at a ranch, playing a murder mystery game at a dinner party or going to a blow out bash with a few hundred others, you’re going to want to ring in the New Year looking a little special! I recruited some of my pals to show a few looks that are quick to achieve, long lasting and just interesting enough for others to notice 🙂

Monochromatic

My lips turned out to be a tad more brown after touching these up but I wanted to do something that you can do in less that three minutes if you’re running short on time. A soft smokey eye in any color will do the trick! One of Spring’s biggest trends which is up on deck, is a pastel smokey eye with no liner and lots of mascara. Easy, chic-so I chose a more wintery color- Laura Mercier’s Caviar Eye Stick in Twilight, scribbled and smudged all over and around my eyes and loaded my lashes up with mascara, a little blush and Armani’s Sheer Lipstick in #614 Plum, a fabulous lavender-grey I found in Heathrow over the summer.

Pop of Color

Quick, fun, fabulous. Again, you can do this with any color and even with a liner, but for Julie’s look I covered her entire lid just up to the crease with Maybelline’s 24 hr Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow in Turquoise. This stuff does not budge..perfect for dancing the night away! Finished with a tightline of black liner, loads of mascara and pops of light pink blush and gloss to compliment her bright blue eyes.

Dark Smokey Eye w/ GLitter!

My favorite thing! Glitter!!! Whitney is always so much fun to do with those big eyes! My grandmother gifted me MAC’s Holiday Loose Pigments and I am obsessed. For Whit I used every pigment in the box over MAC’s 24hr which will lock everything in place. Deep Blue Green was used on her inner third, Grey Glitter in the middle, Dark Soul was her outer V and White was on her brow bone. Topped it off with Chanel’s Eyeshadow stick in Black Stream and mascara, tiny hint of blush and Tom Ford’s Lips & Boys Lipstick Collection in Blake.

Heavy Metal

Again, monochromatic- little more on the chrome. MAC Loose Pigments in Copper Sparkle, liquid liner and Tom Ford’s Lip & Boys Collection in Omar were used to achieve this look.

A Bit of Everything

Little Bit of winged liner, little bit of color with Laura Mercier’s Turquoise Caviar Eye stick underneath, little bit of MakeupForver’s Holodiam Poweder for glitter and a little bit of metallic in her lips!

Just a few more looks for inspo:
