Elizabeth Taylor once said, ” Pour yourself a drink, put on some lipstick on and pull yourself together”. Iconic words if you’re feeling anything less than fabulous. A study conducted by Allure a few years back polled women and found that 95% instantaneously feel more confident after applying lipstick. Pretty incredible that something so small can make such a large change in just a few seconds! Oh the joy of lipstick. In honor of National Lipstick Day I wanted to round up a few of my favorite lipsticks to share with you!
Marc Jacobs in Role Play- THE perfect peachy nude. I love the packaging too.
Nars Audacious Lipsticks- I have 3 or 4 of these intensely pigmented, creamy formulas that amp up any look.
L’Oreal Infallible 2-Step Liquid Lipstick- one of my favorite drugstore finds. The lipstick goes on smooth and the clear sealant ensures longwear hours. Never Ending Nutmeg and Always Almond are favorites.
Lime Crime Velvetines Liquid Lipsticks- I love the variety of colors. Love playing up dramatic looks with these.
Chanel Rouge Velvet- I usually don’t splurge this much on lipstick but Chanel just does it right. This texture is so pretty. The new Fall ’17 Collection is drop dead gorgeous!
