Met Ball

It’s Met Ball Monday! Above are some of my favorite looks from last year’s Punk Chaos Themed Gala. Tonight, celebs will be dressed to honor America’s first couturier Charles James who was known for his highly structured and gorgeous evening wear. It is the most formal dress code required in Western Fashion, so I am very excited to see women dressed in princess-like ball gowns and white gloves, and the men decked out in tails.

It will be a complete 180 from last year’s edgy theme. The Met Ball has been called the “Oscars of Fashion”, stylists, hairstylists and makeup artists really push themselves for this event to make their star stand out on a night where they are allowed creative freedom in the name of fashion and beauty which is always so exciting to watch!
