This post is all about the Pi Phi Fashion show and what it was like working with so many great sponsors. First off, Mercury Hall was absolutely perfect for a small fashion show. This venue had gorgeous chandeliers, mix matched stain glass windows, a spacey but cozy courtyard that was perfect for the nail bar, hair station, and of course nibbling on appetizers. Local Austin boutiques such as Julian Gold (etc.) provided clothing for all the models to strut on the runway while we prepared 20+ models for their walk. Katherine decided to go with one cohesive look for each girl. This look consisted of statement making purple with a hint of lilac underneath the eyes, along with bold brows. Purple is a cool yet fun shade for spring and it seems to look good on everyone no matter what shade you choose. The models were very different from each other from a physical stand point which made it quite the challenge for Katherine and I, but each one of them was so down to earth and sweet and we loved working this fashion show!

This event is always so fun, and this one was even more special since it was Claire’s first gig with me, and I couldn’t be more proud of my baby sis assisting me! I love being able to connect with my fellow Pi Phi alumns. to raise support, awareness and funds for local literacy while getting to give back by doing the makeup for all of the models. The looks that were showcased on the runway were amazing!! Head to Adelante, Julian Gold, Estilo, Kickpleat, and C.Jane for all of Spring’s hottest clothes!

Can’t wait for next year! xo
