Okay, here are some of top beauty looks from Monday’s Met Gala!

I was actually surprised to see that most of the women didn’t adhere to the dress code and just kinda went with whatever they wanted to wear–but this is definitely the night to do so! Regardless, everyone was looking very glamorous!

From top left rotating clockwise:

-Maggie Q: I think she was one of my favorites for the night from head to toe. Her smokey grey shadow, precise cat-eye and nude lip complimented her beautiful black frock and kept the focus on her stunning diamonds and sapphire jewels!

-Rosie Huntington-Whitely: She’s the prettiest deer I’ve ever seen, you know if deer were in human form.. This is the look that most girls kill for. Very natural and meek- her lash extensions are so fluttery and full without being over the top, the flawless skin, and just a flush of color in her lips and cheeks make it look like she just threw on some chapstick and a bit of eyeliner and was out the door in 2 minutes..

-Nicole Richie: Her dress was a bit drab but her makeup was spot-on. With her new lavender hair, her makeup artist Beau Nelson decided to keep everything very simple and  play up her eyes with a dab of translucent glitter all over the lid and a pretty pair of falsies. Her peachy lips and cheeks tied everything together. Can’t wait to try out this look myself!

-Leighton Meester: This reminds me of what I just did on my best friend for her wedding. It’s my favorite aesthetic-just keeping everything natural, groomed, pretty and enhancing your features with a few steps such as smudging your liner and shadow like Leighton. Her over-all look was so beautiful, see here!

-Chloe Moretz: Chloe wore a dress from Chanel’s Dallas Collection. The dress, hair and makeup worked really well for her-she’s quickly become one of my favorite young stars on the rise to watch for her impeccable style!

-Ivanka Trump: I’m sorry, could you be more beautiful? I’m so glad that she was one of the women to embrace the Charles James theme and really went for it. Staring at her face just makes me smile. Her red lips were an amazing contrast to her chartreuse and black Oscar de la Renta ball gown+full lashes and flawless foundation, she is a vision. PEOPLE magazine documented her getting ready for the ball and her 3-year-old-daughter “said I looked like a princess, specifically a cross between Rapunzel and Elsa,”-how adorably correct!

-Emma Stone: She is someone I admire so much. She’s been a joy to watch on screen since Superbad-classic–she has been the face of Revlon and spokeswoman for their EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women! for women’s cancers. I like following her press junkets to see her amazingly versatile style-that girl can pull off any look-she’s not afraid to experiment with her clothes, makeup or her hair color-she always looks so cool and effortless. Hence why I loved her look at the Met Ball- that copper/rose gold shadow makes her sage green eyes pop-everything else is simple and understated letting her dress do all the work!

-Kristen Stewart: Okay, she might be the epitome of second hand embarrassment and she’s a bit hard to watch but she is interesting to watch on the red carpet. Longtime makeup artist Jillian Dempsey gets to have all the fun playing with Kristen’s beautiful eyes and high fashion. Her makeup is always a harmonious balance of sexy, glam yet effortless looking-and it was perfect with her Chanel dress at the Gala.

-Elizabeth Olsen: Hung Vanngo–you have the best job in the world. The Olsen sisters are of course blessed with stunning features that he simply plays up with a hint of color on their eyes, cheeks or lips. Their brow game is flawless- just add a few swipes of mascara and they are stunning.. Elizabeth Olsen is definitely a new source of inspiration for me. She changes her hair color just as much as I do and looks fabulous in blonde or brunette-and she’s not afraid to step out in public without any makeup on, not like any Olsen needs it but when they do–wow!
