Austin-based cosmetics consultancy, Cren de la Cren, is owned and operated by makeup artist Katherine Crenshaw. Katherine hopes to make a large impact with each of her clients through the powerful tool of makeup. She hopes to help create a lasting lesson of self-confidence in what each individual has been blessed with, using her highly specified and individualized services, so each client can feel like the best version of themselves.
Cren de la Cren was birthed from Katherine’s obsession with makeup and what it can do for women. She believes that every woman should look and feel her best, and loves to share that process with every client. Her fascination with beauty, color and style fuels her passion, but her true inspiration comes from the people she meets.
Katherine studied under top Beverly Hills makeup artist Kimberly Bosso at Bosso Makeup Academy in Los Angeles. There she honed her skills in everything from basic everyday makeup to airbrush, stage and theatre makeup. Throughout her career, Katherine has participated and applied makeup for a number of high-profile clients and events including the following: Heart and Soul Charity Fashion Show ft. Rebecca Taylor, Augusta, GA; Robin Love, wife of USA Captain of the Ryder Cup Team, for the Opening Ceremony and Ball in Chicago, IL; Maybelline’s Kisses for the Troops in Times Square; Neiman Marcus Cusp’s Fall Preview Fashion show; Golf Channel Special, Jim Nantz Remembers Augusta with Ben Crenshaw; Golf Channel, Feherty Out of Bounds featuring Ben Crenshaw; and feature film, My All American.
