I spent this weekend in Palm Beach, Florida for a fellow Pi Phi’s wedding. I can’t even begin to tell you how sad I am to be home because this weekend was so much fun. Not only did I get to reunite with my college buddies, I got to see a sweet friend tie the knot. It was one of the most gorgeous and FUN weddings I’ve ever attended. She was drop dead gorgeous, the band was amazing-had everyone out of their seats dancing the night away, and the decor was absolutely dreamy.

My dress was something I’ve been waiting to whip out for weeks. If you’ve been following along Let’s Face It or Merritt’s blog, The Style Scribe, you’ve seen this show stopper. I fell in love with this dress when I saw it this summer but had nowhere to wear it to. Once I saw it in my favorite colors green and blue, I knew I couldn’t wait any longer to get it into my closet. This dress is a work of art and I couldn’t wait to play up all of the amazing colors it had in my eye makeup.

What I did on me:
Because I could choose just one look or color I decided to put EVERY color I had in my makeup kit to accentuate the embroidered details. It might be an abrasive look but I LOVED every bit of it.

I had 2 more bubblelopes of makeup filled to the brim but these were my weekend essentials:
Glossier Phase 1 Set very much obsessed with everything so far. I’ve been using the set for a month and love the way my skin feels!
L’Oreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes in Blackest Black and waterproof- the salt water smeared everything still.. glad I had a makeup wipe in my Glossier bubblelope!
W3LL People Bio Bronzer tester- perfect travel size!
Elizabeth and James Nirvana Rollerball can’t leave home without one of my favorite scents. Again, perfect travel size.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Deep End– I wanted something that would play up the ocean and something to compliment all of the blue I wore all weekend.
Marc Jacobs Concealer
Krewe Du Optic Shades in St. Louis Oyster to Black– probably my favorite pair of Krewe sunglasses I won because of the color and the fact they are polarized!
