I can’t believe how quickly September flew by. With lots going on with work and play, the days went by in a flash. I wanted to share a round up of some new products I’ve been focusing on throughout the month in addition to my favorite Rae Brow Pencil, W3LL People Bio Bronzer, Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk and Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara staples in my makeup bag.
–MakeupForever Ultra HD Lip Booster in Clear– One step up from chapstick and one down from lip gloss that it hydrating and plumping but doesn’t have any active ingredients that tingle or burn. Just a smoothing and soothing clear treatment to be worn before lipstick or alone.
–Armani Eye and Brow Maestro in Wedge Wood- Chanel’s Illusion D’ombre in New Moon and Laura Mercier’s Eye Stick Caviar in Au Naturel I use these cream shadows in the same way. I like to smudge them onto my eyelid and around the lower lid for a single wash of color to create a haze around the eye. I love the Chanel one because it has glitter in it but it’s not garish glitter. It’s sophisticated glitter. I’ve been skipping liner and just adding a ton of mascara. I love it!
–Korres Golden Krocus Ageless Saffron Elixir- I love this serum because it’s so easy. You can use it morning or night, at any age, for any skin type. I love that it has a bit of shimmer to the anti-aging formula. It leaves a beautiful sheen on the skin and makes it feel supple.
–Glossier Stretch Concealer- Spot treating any redness on my face with this sheer lightweight concealer has been my favorite alternative to foundation.
– Maybelline Volum’ Express Colossal Big Shot Tinted Base Primer– This shit is SOOO GOOOOOD. I picked it up randomly when I was stocking up for a wedding and I have been overcome with joy for stumbling upon it. This primer lifts, separates, and adds a mega ton of volume to where you don’t even need a top coat of mascara! With mascara, lashes turn out insanely long, voluminous and plump. I’m obsessed.
–Fenty Beauty Killawatt Highlighters in Metal Moon and Mean Money/Hu$tla Baby– I have been patiently waiting in extreme excitement for her beauty line to drop and she of course, did not disappoint. Her line is so beautiful and cool. I love that she has included up to 40 (and more on the way) shades of foundation to cover every skin tone and color and has unique shades of highlighters and shimmer sticks. She is fearless with color in her beauty game so this extension to her fans and fellow makeup lovers is no surprise. Just beautiful. I’m so excited to see her holiday collection too! Coming out Oct. 13th and will have shadows and more lipgloss colors.
I also wanted to include a slideshow of some of my favorite photos I saved in the month of September to show what I’ve been inspired by, what I’m using, what I’ve been up to and what I love!
Stay tuned for October Faves!
