I wanted to share an example of my virtual makeup consulting service that I did with one of my best pals! 
Amanda sent me a picture of herself in the cutest checkered two-piece crop top and skirt that she brought on a recent trip to Mexico.
She told me that she loved the Urban Decay Naked3 Palette so I worked within that palette. I wanted to play up the colors of the pattern and her baby blues, so this is what I suggested to her:

“I would wear your foundation, concealer and brows as you normally do, just begin with a polished base, add a touch of bronzer where the sun would naturally hit your face to warm up your complexion, then we can focus on the rest of your face.
1) Soft coppery-taupe smokey eye. Use Mugshot in Urban Decay’s Naked 3 Palette all over the lid and blend slightly up into the crease, then swept under the eyes to round it out. + smudged liner or perhaps a kitten eye like the images below + mascara+ nude blush and lips
2) Soft Gradient of the entire palette. From Naked3 on the lids in thirds: Dust, then Buzz, then Factory. Use Dark Horse in the crease, blend, then use Strange on the brow bone. Add Factory along the lower lash line+ tight line upper lid+ loads of mascara+ pink cheeks such as Nars Orgasm and clear gloss
3) Nars Audacious Lipstick in Geraldine or Juliette would pop with your nails! Any bold lipstick with Strange, Burnout or Trick from the UDNaked3P, no liner and a shit ton of mascara would be really pretty too.
4) Soft smokey eye in Limit or Nooner from UDN3P would be gorgeous too. Use all around the eye and slightly above the crease for a wash of color around the eye. Tight line in brown liner+mascara, swap your blush for bronzer and add nude lips!
